Gabriella Rubin, also known as Gabriella “Stella,” is a poetess from Staten Island, NY, of Italian and Jewish descent. Gabriella’s core was shaped through her experiences as a former college and professional basketball player, where she learned her most valuable life lessons. Her poetry path began a few years ago in the jungles of Tulum, Mexico, when she was searching for who she was apart from basketball.
